The Ivey Health Sector Club Summer Student Panel is the place to learn about the variety of summer internship opportunities within the health sector. You will hear from students who spent their summer working in the public sector, pharma / biotech, med devices / tech, consulting, start-ups and more! The event will kick off with a panel where students can learn from students about their personal experiences, recruiting tips, and how to get involved during the year. Following this will be an opportunity to network with the students.

The Ivey Health Sector Club Industry Panel is providing you with a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals within the health sector. Students can learn about the day to day activities of working in the public sector, pharma / biotech, med devices / tech, consulting, start-ups and more. The event will kick off with a panel where students can learn knowledgeable and experienced advice about career opportunities, recruiting and finding your passion. Following this will be an opportunity to network with the panelists.



Firms Trip

IHSC has partnered with a multitude of firms, including Sagard, Coactuate and Klick Health to offer an office tour on November 6/13th in Toronto! It's a great opportunity to tour the space and meet people from the office before applying for a summer position. Stay tuned for updates on additional firms and bus details!

Presenting students with an interactive opportunity to learn and apply their knowledge of current trends and developments within the health sector. Students discuss the challenges and opportunities of these trends using creative methods and explore the future implications on the health of our population. The workshops will explore healthcare consultancy, healthcare finance and biotech/research respectively.



Schulich-Ivey Quality in Healthcare Consultancy


Throughout the Year!



Calling all HBA's, we're looking for students passionate in making a difference in the medical field to join our Shulich-Ivey Consultancy program. The Schulich Ivey Quality in Healthcare Consultancy is a pioneering educational program and a collaboration between two leading academic institutions: Ivey Business School's Health Sector Club and the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry's Center for Quality, Innovation, and Safety. It is a 6-month consulting project that offers Ivey participants the opportunity to apply their business knowledge to real-world quality improvement gaps in a healthcare setting at the London Health Sciences Center. The consultancy features a variety of guest speakers who will lead educational seminars. It is the perfect opportunity for you to bridge your interests in business and healthcare.



IHSC Case Competition


January 17-18


The Ivey Health Sector Club’s case competition is designed to provide students with the opportunity to network and learn about possible career paths in the life science, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare industries. Students will have an opportunity to form teams and complete a strategy healthcare case and submit a completed slide deck. They will then present in front of a variety of judges from the health sector and have a chance to discuss further with leading executives in the industry. The winning team will be awarded a special prize such as a dinner with our platinum sponsors.
